In our world today we focus too much on our various cultural differences in a negative light. Through my artwork I investigate stories and myths outside of my cultural world view through the visual means of painting. I look for the similarities that the various myths have with each other, to teach compassion, tolerance, and understanding of our fellow humans. I want to show that despite our cultural difference, we as a single species have been aspiring towards the same goals and ideas through the art of storytelling.
